Superman Red Son fighting for Stalin
Superman Red Son was a limited series which looked at what would have happened had Superman’s evacuation rocket landed on a Ukrainian collective farm rather than the Smallville farm of Kansas.
Superman Red Son is used as a propaganda tool by Stalin and changes the focus of the Cold War from a nuclear arms race to metahumans. Metahumans being a human with super powers.
Lex Luther is employed by S.T.A.R. Labs to destroy Superman Red Son. He gathers genetic material to create a monstrous clone of Superman, named Superman 2.
